As you may know impermanence has been catching up with Rivendell in recent years. We have had to deal with a major out-break of dry rot, (now thankfully under control), major electrical work and the renovation of the ecological pond system. All this has made a real impact on our finances and there is all ways something that needs repairing or replacing. We try hard to keep the cost of our retreats low as we want as many people as possible to experience the benefits of Rivendell. It does however mean we do not have large reserves of income to cover the costs of unexpected maintenance work. So, we are looking to you for help. Please think carefully and give whatever help you can to keep enable us to Rivendell going as a meditation retreat centre. If you are a taxpayer we can, through the Gift Aid scheme, reclaim a significant addition to your donation from the Inland Revenue. | |||
